Last week, the defense sector was quite lively with contracts pouring out of the Pentagon’s funding list. Apart from a major award going to General Dynamics (GD – Analyst Report), Rockwell Collins (COL – Analyst Report) and Harris Corp. (HRS – Analyst Report) for developing new radios, Huntington Ingalls Inc. (HII) secured a $205.1 million modification contract for the second year of advance planning of the refueling complex overhaul of USS George Washington (CVN 73).

General Dynamics’ Land Systems has been awarded a $101.8 million modification contract for Stryker garrison/deployment maintenance and field service representative support.
