Monday: Q3’s Bank of Japan Tankan survey will see light. Final estimates for October’s Industrial Production Index will also see light, as well as the Tertiary Industrial Index. In Italy, the final estimate for November’s Consumer Price Index will see light.

Tuesday: The final estimate for November’s Consumer Price Index will be released in Spain and the U.K. The U.K. will also host the month’s Producer Price Index. In Germany, December’s ZEW survey will see light. In the U.S., December’s Empire Manufacturing Index will be released, as will November’s Consumer Price Index.

Wednesday: Preliminary December Markit Purchasing Managers’ Indices will be released for both the Manufacturing, as well as Services Sectors in France and Germany, followed by Eurozone Aggregates. In the U.K., November Labor Market data will see light, more interestingly the Claimant Count Rate, Jobless Claims Change and Unemployment rate. The final estimate for the Consumer Price Index will also be released for the Eurozone, with Analysts expecting Year over Year inflation to remain stable at 0.1%. In the U.S., the weekly MBA Mortgage Applications will see light, followed by November’s Housing Starts. On the supply side we’ll have November’s Industrial Production data and the Preliminary December Markit Purchasing Managers’ Index. All these will serve as appetizers for what will likely be the most important economic release of the decade – The Fed’s rate announcement.

Thursday: December’s IFO Survey will be released in Germany. In the U.S., the weekly Initial Jobless Claims will see light, followed by November’s Leading Index.

Friday: Preliminary data on December’s Markit Purchasing Managers’ Index will be released in the U.S.
