Monday: February Machine Orders data will be released in Japan. In China, Consumer Price data for March will see light, currently indicating a noteworthy 2.3% annual inflation.
Tuesday: The final estimate for the Consumer Price Index will see light in Germany, with analysts expecting annual inflation to remain stable at 0.3%. CPI data for March will be released in the U.K., where the analyst consensus sees a slight uptick, to 0.4%. The March Producer Price Index for the month will also be released in the U.K.
Wednesday: The March Producer Price Index will see light in Japan, as will M2 and M3 money aggregates data. In China, March Trade Balance data will see light. In the U.S., the weekly MBA Mortgage Applications will see light, as will March Advance Retail Sales and the Producer Price Index for the month. The Bank of Canada is scheduled to release a rate decision and the Fed will release the Beige Book.
Thursday: The final estimate for the Eurozone Consumer Price Index will be released. In the U.K., the BoE is scheduled to make a rate announcement, with analysts expecting it to keep it unchanged at 0.5%. In the U.S., the weekly Initial Jobless Claims will see light, as will the March Consumer Price Index.
Friday: March Industrial Production data will see light in China, as will Gross Domestic Product figures for the first quarter. The final estimate for February’s Industrial Production data will be released in Japan. In the U.S., April’s Empire Manufacturing Survey will see light, as will March Industrial Production data and a preliminary estimate on the University of Michigan’s Consumer Sentiment Index.
