The AAA is projecting that almost 90 percent of travelers, or 45.5 million, are planning a Thanksgiving road trip (self-driving – as in driving ourselves), up 3.2 percent from last year. Please be careful and have a wonderful holiday weekend.
When Robert Muller III (who is in the news quite often in his new role), was in his old role as Director of the FBI he said, “There are only two kinds of companies: ones that have been hacked and ones that do not know they’ve been hacked.” It seems Uber is in a new class – they knew they were hacked and didn’t say anything about it. Ugh!
For those of you who asked me about the DOJ vs. AT&T yesterday. Yes, I believe that “Big Tech” is consciously waiting to see how this plays out. If there’s a war on vertical M&A, they can afford to wait it out. BTW, every big tech company is laughing to itself about this. AT&T has a measly 25 million video subs. FANG measures users in the billions. Wondering about your tax dollars at work? Me too.
